Farewell 2008

With 24 hours left in the year, so this is what I did in 2008 (or what I can recall):

The Cons---to get it out of the way---

The year started out on a shit note. Still trying to learn to live without I'd known for the first 22 yrs.
Even before I could settle my own familial struggle, one of my OMEGAs' father passed away too (found out he was sick the day after we found out about my father, so we hit the emotion train togeth).
Things were just moving for a while
Then Swoozy's Aunt and Grandma passed away
I lost employment and never (STILL) got paid
Me Mo (another roommate's Mom) passed away
Time moved slower
Mom and I hit a an All-Time high in fighting ( ii blame her old woman's disease)
Transmission went on the rodeo, missed my Dad more then ever in that moment b/c I didn't have that automatic there
Somehow, Cali voted Yes on 8, and Florida, Arizona and so on voted for discrimination

The Pros

Greg and Amanda finally got married!
I took the firefighting exam
I ended up top 60 on the hiring list of firefighting
President Elect Barack Obama

OMEGAs became even more awesome, even when we lived all over the state
