I don't know if you know but..
There is a reason that this is the greatest season of the year. It's the only time I enjoy sitting outside and doing nothing or everything. I just sat on the back porch for 2 hours reading, playing fetch, and utterly enjoying what a beautiful day it is. Something about the changing leaves and the chill in the air, which means I have to bundle up a little bit makes everything seem more pleasant. Even though I had been sick of throwing that damned chewed up frisbee I continued to for the sake of Daisy's good time. I felt like sharing it with her, she gives me this look of satisfaction when she comes back to drop the bee time after time, who am I to end such a good time. Also the book I'm reading may have heightened my sense of environment, but that just made it all the better. Desert Solitaire. A suggested, or not really even suggested but someone told me it was one of their favorites and to help further understand the person I took it upon myself to read this book. The author truly appreciates his environment, and reading his argument for the preservation of our National Parks, Monuments, etc. helped me realize where I was, what I was doing, and just exactly how glorious a day it actually is. The only time I was interrupted from my peace and sanctuary of the day was when the train went by and Daisy howled and I lost concentration on my page because the dang horn was so loud and intrusive. When Daisy and I went to the Pond Meadow for a walk, we were again surrounded by beauty and the pure nature that exists even in the suburban town. It is not on the same level by far of the beauty that is a National Park like the one described in the book, but working with I got around me, it may as well have been. It's just a good day. Plain and Simple. With the only a sweatshirt and a fleece, my dog and her excitement, today has been a beautiful picturesque Autumn typical New England day. And for that Mother Nature, I thank you.

A couple things:
1 - why didn't you tell me you had a blog?
B - why aren't I on your list of pages you read? This hurts my feelings. Amend now by adding "bridge-inthepines.blogspot.com" to your reading list! Limited Time Only! (not really, but it was shameless self promotion, so I just went with it.
III - So, Rene toldja about the revoked job offer, eh? How sucky is that? Ugh ugh ugh. Back in the saddle again. Lord help me.
4- I'll c yah tomorrow (well, later today since it's 3 AM) for the din din and card writing fiasco thingy.
