I don't know if you know but..

There is a reason that this is the greatest season of the year. It's the only time I enjoy sitting outside and doing nothing or everything. I just sat on the back porch for 2 hours reading, playing fetch, and utterly enjoying what a beautiful day it is. Something about the changing leaves and the chill in the air, which means I have to bundle up a little bit makes everything seem more pleasant. Even though I had been sick of throwing that damned chewed up frisbee I continued to for the sake of Daisy's good time. I felt like sharing it with her, she gives me this look of satisfaction when she comes back to drop the bee time after time, who am I to end such a good time. Also the book I'm reading may have heightened my sense of environment, but that just made it all the better. Desert Solitaire. A suggested, or not really even suggested but someone told me it was one of their favorites and to help further understand the person I took it upon myself to read this book. The author truly appreciates his environment, and reading his argument for the preservation of our National Parks, Monuments, etc. helped me realize where I was, what I was doing, and just exactly how glorious a day it actually is. The only time I was interrupted from my peace and sanctuary of the day was when the train went by and Daisy howled and I lost concentration on my page because the dang horn was so loud and intrusive. When Daisy and I went to the Pond Meadow for a walk, we were again surrounded by beauty and the pure nature that exists even in the suburban town. It is not on the same level by far of the beauty that is a National Park like the one described in the book, but working with I got around me, it may as well have been. It's just a good day. Plain and Simple. With the only a sweatshirt and a fleece, my dog and her excitement, today has been a beautiful picturesque Autumn typical New England day. And for that Mother Nature, I thank you.

Is everybody ready?!?!?!

It's the playoff season! The Red Sox are in California playing the Angels, and Jason Bay has just hit a 2-run homer to take the lead!! Sweetness. OK so because of my excitement, I feel the need to say I FUCKIN LOVE THESE BOYS.

...so I took a little break and now it's the top of the 7th and David Ortiz is up with 2 on and 2 out, can we say RALLY ON 2!!!!!!

This is a very exciting week with the start of the post-season ...FUCK HE STRUCK OUT... and this vice president debate that is going down tomorrow. I must say Biden does not always say the right thing, but I would almost guarentee that he makes a more appropriate canidate. I hope/believe that this debate will show Americans unsure of what they will be getting into, that John McCain has made the "lipstick wearing pitbull" selection as a way to attract voters because she is a woman, not because of anything she has done or anything she stands for. This should be an interesting show.

GO RED SOX!!!!!!
